About the project

Find trusted services near you.

One Universe is a mobile and web-based platform that connects service seekers with verified service providers across Nigeria, from electricians, plumbers and home repairs to legal services, business consultants, beauty and wellness, and technology. It also offers embedded financial services through partner banks, so users can open accounts, take loans, pay for a service later or raise money through crowdfunding, with biometric authentication and geo-location matching built into the platform.

We designed and developed the One Universe website and set it up for search.

The brief

One Universe needed a website that explains a two-sided marketplace in plain terms: help buyers find trusted providers, persuade providers to list their services, present the platform's finance features with confidence, and send both groups to download the app or register.

Our approach

The home page opens with “Find Trusted Services Near You” over a collage of service providers at work, with buttons to discover more and download the app from the App Store or Google Play, followed by four trust points: biometric authentication, verified professionals, geo-location matching and bank-grade security.

Our Services sets out the eight services as cards, from Find a Service and Embedded Finance to Service Now, Pay Later, Premium Seller Rating, Crowdfunding and the Referral Network. Choose Your Path then splits visitors into buyers and sellers, each with its own sign-up, before the industries, client stories and a consultation form. A mega menu groups the industries, and the services have their own pages. The deep teal and sky blue palette, set in DM Sans, keeps a busy offer calm and easy to scan.
