A new name has to earn trust quickly, especially when it is a bank looking after people's savings.
Indulge Microfinance Bank is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and serves small and medium-sized businesses and low-income earners with savings, loans, investments and payments. It was changing its name from Moneywise, and its website had to introduce the new brand while reassuring existing customers.
We started with research rather than screens: discovery sessions with the bank, then surveys and one-to-one interviews with customers, which shaped the personas, sitemap, wireframes and final design.

Home, Savings (Personal Savings, Target Savings, Daily Kobo), Loans (Business Loan, LPO Finance, Personal Loan, Salary Advance, Asset Finance), Investments, Payments, About Us, Management, Careers, FAQs, Contact, Open an Account.
The brief
The bank was changing its name from Moneywise to Indulge Microfinance Bank. Its website had to explain who the bank is and what it offers in plain terms, make its products easy to compare, and give people good reasons to trust a name they had not seen before.
Our approach
We held discovery sessions with the bank to line up its brand goals with the problems its customers face, then ran surveys and one-to-one interviews with users. From that research we built user personas, a sitemap and wireframes before moving to visual design.
The site groups the bank's offer under Savings, Loans, Investments and Payments, with a page for each product. The home page sets out who regulates the bank, how deposits are protected, and how to get started, with routes to open an account or log in to internet banking on every page.
