About the project

From success to significance.

Re-Imagine: My Life and Lessons in Black & White is the memoir of Dr. Ken Onyeali Ikpe, published by Verbatim. Dr. Ikpe spent 26 years in advertising and marketing communications, ending as Group CEO of Insight Redefini, a Publicis affiliate, before turning to executive consulting and business strategy. The book was launched on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at the Metropolitan Club, Victoria Island, Lagos.

We designed and developed the website, host it and set it up for search.

Sections

The Book, Inside (Part One: The Journey, Part Two: Life As I Know It), The Author, The Launch, and a pledge slip for ordering copies.

01

The brief

The website had to announce the memoir and its launch, give guests the date, time, venue and dress code at a glance, introduce the book and its author, and let readers and organisations pledge and pay for copies.

02

Our approach

We took the book's subtitle at its word: the site is set in black and white with a single crimson accent, using Anton for the RE-IMAGINE wordmark, Cormorant Garamond for headings, Pinyon Script for the word Launch and Manrope for reading text. It now opens with a thank-you to everyone who joined the memoir launch, alongside Dr. Ikpe's portrait and buttons to pledge a copy, followed by a crimson bar with the launch date, venue and dress code.

The Book, Inside and The Author sections then walk through the memoir: The Core and The Multiplier, Part One's journey through Roots and Roads, the ten reflections of Part Two, a timeline of the author's life and quotes from the book. A pledge slip at the end explains how to pay by bank transfer, then lets visitors confirm how many copies they want and what for, from personal use to gifts and donations, or ask to be contacted to complete their purchase. The site is built with the WordPress block editor, and we host it and set it up for search.
